Good food. The dishes are a little big and you have to take some home all the time. Always busy during dinner time but they can accommodate you fairly quickly. Parking is small but the plaza connected next door has plenty of parking and all the stores close by the time dinner starts which is perfect!

The fresh bread and olive oil were very good. We ordered a Caesar salad in an edible bowl. The salad is big enough for 2 and was very good. We both had the SICILIAN BAKED PENNE $17 Penne pasta tossed with sausage, chicken and meatballs in a marinara sauce with a touch of ricotta cheese topped with mozzarella cheese and baked in the oven. This is a huge portion, we were only able to finish half and took the rest home. Very good, The service was also very good.

Read a lot about this place but never ate there, maybe had Jersey Shore in the back of my mind. Decided to eat there last night and went with an open mind, despite the many negative entries. Based on my experience, here's what I found to be true from other comments: the place fills up quickly & isn't the best decor wise BUT the service (Nicole) was very professional, attentive and helpful. Our table loved the family-style salad and the bread was awesome. Stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and two chicken dishes... The tour of Italy came out on a Thanksgiving Day sized platter! Portions were plentiful & everything was piping hot. Food was fresh, flavorful and very fairly priced. What I disagree with other posts: I found the service and food to be very good/ excellent. I even had occasion to meet & speak with the owner (Tony). He was personable, accommodating and friendly. I believe he's taken some hits in reviews for his deep support of those in L. E. / services. IMO, the negative hits were more a political dig than an actual issue with the food, etc. I would not hesitate to return...

e went here twice on our last vacation back to visit my hometown of Toms River. Rivoli's menu sure has changed a lot since the last time I was there, but that's not always a bad thing. Their bread was very good & over the 2 nights were got lobster bisque soup, veal parm, spaghetti & meatballs, Chicken Romano & a chicken dish that I forget the name of with artichokes, red peppers & lemon wine sauce. It was all really good, good service. The capuccino was good also, they just need to seriously revamp the desserts. Chocolate mousse? Reeses cake? No tiramisu? No cannoli? Weird.
